Another entertaining evening at the Cambrian Arms. Brendan brings us great music; 'In the port of Amsterdam', 'Sailing away by the Moon is the sky', and others. Kym reads Philip Larkin and a thoughtful extract about housing and Liverpool. Huw brings us a great poem about Stratford and William Shakespeare, as well as, a poem about an amazing sheep dog,all true. Mark has some thoughtful aphorisms. Paul brings us a play that finds Mark's daughter Livy playing a part of his mother, acting abilities of Brendan, Kym and Huw are all revealed.Alan brings us his own patriotic poem, touchingly performed to music. Paul performs a very old Another great evening, thanks to everyone for sharing brilliant words and music. Always thought provoking, looking foward to the next time.

What a brilliant evening. Julie Pritchard brought us thought provoking poetry that stirred up all our emotions. Brendan opened and closed the evening with meaningful songs and music. Kym introduced us to selected work from Merseyside poets. Patrick Dobbs,a farmer poet travelled miles to be with us. Listeners were surprised to learn so much about 'Grass'. Maya our youngest reader read with confidence, as did her mother Wendy. Mike Mainwaring told us about a project to help refugee children, while Mike Saunders will read next time. Alan Taylor and Rees Watson had great tales to tell. Liza read a letter about dragon meat by Terry. While Phil had poetry about Welsh dragons, and Bara brith. Beryl told us about the magic of standing stones, and included volunteers for her play. Paul had music and poetry. Hugh, poetry to join in.
